Peru

Peru is one of the world’s five “cradles of civilization”. It was the epicenter of America´s most extensive and sophisticated empire, the Inca empire, from 1100 until its collapse in 1535.

A roundtrip to Peru is a trip to an incredibly beautiful country with history leaping out everywhere and all the time. The Incas had their capital in Cuzco in Peru with the Holy Valley being a masterpiece in archeology – especially the hidden city of Machu Picchu, one of the world’s seven new wonders.

You should travel to Peru for many reasons. Peru has some great sights that are not found anywhere else in the world – the giant 2000 year old mythical Nazca-lines in the southern desert and the Indian cultures up to present-day at Lake Titicaca Or the worlds deepest canyon, Colca, in the volcanic region  of Arequipa in the south. Not to forget the adventurous highlands with vast plains and mountain-peaks.

Peru is an incredibly easy and pleasant country to travel in. The food is second to none.

Incas impressive buildings – Cuzco

One can only be impressed when you see how the Incas built with outstanding craftsmanship precision and grandeur many places in Peru. The entire Cuzco’s center is built on 2000 year old Incan foundations, so the lower half of the building is 2000 years old perfect Inca stone and the top is 200 years old colonial style.

On a tour to Peru you experience things you can not experience when traveling elsewhere. For example, Peru known for the giant drawings in the desert, and why they were made for more than 2000 years ago, is still a mystery. Perhaps showing the way to the underground waterways.
